Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information the TimeDot app ("TimeDot", "the app") handles, where it goes and why. TimeDot is made by GET Technologies Limited ("we", "us").
What stays on your device
Your name, birth date, moods and notes, events, intentions, quiz answers, theme and settings are stored on your device. We don't have an account system and we don't receive this content.
iCloud backup (Premium)
If you have Premium and iCloud Sync is on, your moods, notes, events and intentions are also stored in your own private iCloud account, so they're backed up and available on your other devices. This data is held by Apple under your Apple Account and is not accessible to us. You can turn this off in TimeDot under Settings > Backup.
What we share with service providers
We use the following service providers to run the app and to show ads to people who use TimeDot for free.
| Provider | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| AppsFlyer | Device information (such as device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, Apple's identifier for vendors and, if you allow tracking, Apple's advertising identifier) and app usage events, such as opening the app, which screens of the welcome flow you reached, your welcome quiz answers, viewing a paywall, starting or completing a purchase, and logging a mood (the mood score only, never your notes). | To measure which ad campaigns bring people to TimeDot and understand how the app is used, so we can improve it. |
| Google AdMob | Device information (such as device model, operating system, IP address and approximate location derived from it), Apple's advertising identifier if you allow tracking, and information about the ads you see and tap. | To show ads to free users, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud. With your permission, ads may be personalised. |
| RevenueCat | An anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription history, and basic device information. | To manage subscriptions and unlock Premium. |
Payments are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Ads, tracking and your choices
Free users see ads. Premium users don't.
TimeDot asks for your permission, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, before Google AdMob and AppsFlyer can use Apple's advertising identifier to personalise ads and measure which ads led to installs. If you don't allow it, you still see ads, but they aren't personalised using that identifier. You can change this at any time in the iPhone Settings app under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
If you're in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, TimeDot asks for your consent before ads use your data, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in TimeDot under Settings > Privacy Choices.
We don't sell your data.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled on your device. No notification content is sent to us.
How long data is kept
On-device data stays until you delete the app. Our providers keep the data described above for as long as needed for the purposes listed, in line with their own retention policies.
Your choices and rights
You can stop all data collection by deleting the app. You can ask us to access or delete data held by our providers about your device by emailing eu@get.ng. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
TimeDot is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
